Hiking and Trail Running

SilverStar's 16 kilometres of forest and mountain trails offer panoramic views of the beautiful Okanagan Valley and Monashee Mountains, with plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife and wildflowers along the way.

All hikers and trail runners are asked to pick up a complimentary pass at the Ticket Office before heading out on the mountain.

Hikers may also choose to purchase a Scenic SkyChair Lift Ticket and ride the SkyChair to the top of the mountain and back down again. Casual hiking on our multi-use trails can be accessed from the top of chairlift.

NOTE: Hikers visiting Monday to Thursday and looking to take the chairlift to the top of the mountain will need to take the Comet Express. To access the Comet you must hike down to the start of the lift which takes approximately 20 minutes and is a fairly gentle hike. Once at the top of the mountain, you must hike down on the four great hiking trails to the village. Return rides are not available on the Comet Express.
